Unit 2: Indesign

First I opened Indesign after that i created a text frame and frame tool 

Secondly I imported my animation to Indesign and added to frame tool.

lastly i cropped the image size to its original size.

What went well in a group:

1. My group came out with great idea of story.
2. We also came came out with creative and unique characters.
3. We put all animation in one sequence. 

What didn't went well in a group 

1. One of our team mate lost his animation 
2. The timing of animation didn't go well

If I was god by Director Cordell Barker


The first animation I searched for "If i was god..."  by (Director) Cordell Barker and one of his fourth animated movie. "If i was god" is about a young boy that lets his creative mind run wild by thinking if he was a god in his biology class and want's to spend time with a lily in his classroom.  Cordell Barker used 3D animation and he also used stop motion clay to create the short animated movie "If I was god" is aimed for kids around 10 to 12 and the genre short animated movie is sci-fi.

Review of Work for Unit 5

Review of my work 

What three things went well.

1. The candle match game( the drawing went well and looks high quality). I am able to use Photoshop well. 
2. The drag and drop went well and i managed the to use the code snippets correctly and the game works well.
3. I have been able to put the swf file on my own blog and not the tutor one

What two thing can be improved?

1. I need to improve my editing skills on Adobe Flash. I found some of the work confusing.
2. I could have done some more variety in the drawings that I made for the game. But I ran out of time.
3. It needs a title on the game.

1. What does the child have to do for the game? The child has to look closely at the picture and find the answer to the picture.Also they have click correct answer.

2. How many questions are in each section?

the are 5 questions to the game.

3. Do you think the character of the dog is engaging for the young audience? If you answer yes, so why you think the dog is engaging. If you answer no, say why you don't think the dog is engaging. yes, because the dog is happy and cute and it jumps

4. Do you think young children will enjoy playing the game? If yes, why do you think so. If no, say why you don't think so. yes, because the game helps the children to learn history and what its made of.  

5. What reward do you get when you answer the questions correctly?

the dog jumps up and say "that is correct well done".

Unit 5: Health and safety

1. WHY SHOULD YOU NOT MOVE THE COMPUTERS OR PRINTERS?

-We shouldn't move the computers or printers because they might get  damaged.

2. CHAIRS FOR COMPUTERS NEED A REQUIRED NUMBER OF FOOTED BASES. HOW MANY FOOTED BASES ARE THE CHAIR MEANT TO HAVE?

-The chairs are meant to have 5 footed bases.

3. WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO ADJUST CHAIR HEIGHT AND BACK SUPPORT FOR THE COMPUTER CHAIR?

-It is important to adjust chair height and back support and it helps to avoiding back pain.

4. RSI CAN BE A PROBLEM. WHAT DOES IT MEAN AND GIVE AN EXAMPLE OF HOW TO AVOID IT.RSI stands for Repetitive strain injury. The condition mostly affects parts of the upper body, such as the forearm, elbow, wrist, hands, shoulders and neck.

5. HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU TAKE A BREAK AWAY FROM THE SCREEN. WHY SHOULD YOU DO THIS?You should take a break away from the screen at least every 50 minutes. so your eye's can rest 

6. CAN YOU SAY WHY YOU ARE NOT MEANT TO BRING FOOD OR DRINK INTO THE COMPUTER ROOMS?

-To avoid spilling any drinks on the computers, because electronics are highly sensitive to liquids. 

7. WHAT CAN YOU DO TO AVOID ISSUES SUCH AS ELECTRIC SHOCKS IN THE COMPUTER ROOM?

-To avoid issues such as electric shocks, we shouldn't play around with the plugs or with the electronic equipments.

First animation test

Am using 2015 cc photoshop to make my animation. 
open new file on photoshop, size is 788 to 576 pixels.
make a drawing of a car or something with wheels.
open the Timeline plus select the creative video timeline.
set the first keyframe plus click on the clock and move current time indicator to a new position. 
move the drawing with move tool.
